It’s been quite a while with Google working on the new Android Oreo. Right now, it is only available for Nexus and Pixel devices. But, here’s your chance to try the all new Android Oreo as a launcher on Android! This is Jay from CodeSquad and I will be giving a quick intro on the Android Oreo along with the download link.

The Android Oreo

The new version of Android launched by Android will be limited to only a few devices, except the ready on ones. Many people have already declared the Android Oreo the best in the business, just by operating its launcher.

We can take a look at Pixel modulator which is available on the Play Store to pixel device only. Well, installing the launcher through APK was one of the options, but not all features were intact. Launchers don’t provide all services but does let you have an internal look on the OS.

Now, the modified Pixel launcher that worked with wide range of devices now comes with a few Android Oreo features. So, Non-pixel and Nexus users can now taste the Android Oreo before it’s officially rolled out for them.

The modified pixel launcher claims to bring Android Oreo features on any Android device. The version 2.1 has been developed by AmirZ and comes with several improvements. It brings features like colored notifications dots, ability to swipe down for notification panel from anywhere, modify icon shapes etc.
